Huntington's Disease (HD) is a neurological disorder
not only affecting the person diagnosed with HD, but their entire family as well. Over 30,000 people in the United
States are currently diagnosed with Huntington's Disease and each of their siblings and children
have a 50% risk of developing this disease. HD is a family disease, not just because it is inherited, but because it profoundly
affects the entire family emotionally, socially and financially.
